Here are some examples, from Tom's first career, of his work as an illustrator. Starting in comic-books, penciling-and-inking for Stan Lee at Marvel Comics, and for Jerry Siegel at Ziff-Davis, he went on to become an advertising artist. He also ghosted at varying times, such syndicated comic strips as The Heart of Juliet Jones, Flash Gordon, and Mary Perkins On Stage.
